The YMCA Camp of Maine is a co-ed residential camp, for children ages 7-16 which offers camper-elected programs in Aquatics, Creative Arts, Sports and Outdoor Living Skills. The emphasis on cabin life, friendship, special events and weekend programs builds a lasting community. Small groups and cabins have counselors as positive role models. The counselor to camper ratio is one to four. Explorers Camp is an opportunity to try overnight camp for children aged 7 to 9. Spend four days and three nights exploring camp. Camp NEOFA is sponsored by the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of the Northeast Odd Fellows’ Association. Our camping program is open to all youth ages 8 – 14, regardless of ability. We are a handicap accessible camp, located 33 miles east of Augusta, and 14 miles west of Belfast, in Montville. Camp consists of 35-acres of open fields, woods and pine groves, and 2,300 feet of waterfront on True’s Pond. Eighty acres of undeveloped land is utilized for outdoor wilderness and nature explorations. We have 12 camper cabins, mess hall, recreation, craft building, nursing facilities, as well as a baseball field, volleyball court and a paved sports court. Emphasis is placed on the wilderness exploration and activities.
