Wavus Camp for Girls

Wavus Camp for Girls is located on two miles of pristine lake frontage on Damariscotta Lake just 65 miles from Portland, near the coast, and 4 miles north of our brother camp, Kieve. Wavus operates a traditional, noncompetitive in-camp program in conjunction with a progressively challenging wilderness tripping program. In-camp, we offer swimming, arts & crafts, team sports, archery, riflery, sailing, paddle boarding, an adventure ropes course, and trips to our nearby ocean front property on Muscongus Bay. All girls participate in our progressive wilderness tripping program designed to inspire, challenge and educate campers through the beauty of nature and the gratification of teamwork. Trips range in length from two days to three weeks depending on age.
