At Camp Walden, we believe in the values on which the camp was founded and which are embodied in the camp’s Honor System: honesty, respect, trust, consideration, and cooperation. These guiding principles involve respecting and supporting each other and always trying our best. Each day campers participate in five activities where girls are scheduled to try everything. In addition campers participate in an extensive trip program, team sports (color war), many special events and cherished traditions. Campers are encouraged to develop skills and competence while they cultivate a strong sense of self, independence, and integrity. Waldenites live for the fun, friendships, and new experiences that each summer brings. The entire experience is what makes Walden a special place.
